Community Building Initiative leadership is representative of the community we serve, drawing from a breadth of organizations, racial and ethnic groups, government, non-profit and for-profit constituencies.
Community Building Initiative is not led by a traditional Board of Directors, but by a Leadership Team, charged with not only providing strategic direction to the organization but also creating an opportunity for personal growth and learning by Leadership Team members. This two-pronged leadership model increases the community’s capacity for deepened dialogue and understanding by equipping civic leaders with knowledge, information and tools to affect change in their own circles and organizations, consequently bringing CBI’s work to the broader community.
